Role Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (Multi-Cloud Infrastructure & Automation)

1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation (60% of Work)

This is the primary focus of the role. The successful candidate must demonstrate advanced expertise in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

- Design and develop scalable, modular, and reusable Terraform modules to provision and manage infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
- Drive the full lifecycle of IaC: Writing code (HCL), planning, applying, and maintaining state files in a collaborative environment (e.g., Terraform Cloud, remote S3/Azure Storage backends).
- Refactor existing infrastructure into Terraform code, eliminating manual processes and configuration drift.
- Implement GitOps workflows to manage infrastructure changes, ensuring all infrastructure deployments follow CI/CD practices.
- Build automation solutions for infrastructure bootstrapping, security hardening, and routine maintenance tasks.

2. CI/CD Pipeline Development & Management (20%)

Focuses on creating automated, reliable deployment pipelines using Jenkins to ensure seamless code delivery from development to production.

- Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Pipeline (Jenkinsfile) for building, testing, and deploying microservices and infrastructure code.
- Integrate infrastructure validation (e.g., terraform plan, Sentinel policies) directly into the CI/CD lifecycle.
- Ensure pipeline security by implementing static application security testing (SAST) and managing credentials securely (e.g.,



HashiCorp Vault integration).
- Optimize pipeline performance and reliability, reducing build and deployment times for development teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve build failures, deployment issues, and environment discrepancies across all stages.

3. Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS 60% / Azure 40%)

Operational ownership of the underlying cloud platforms, utilizing the native services of both major providers.

- AWS Focus: Design and manage core AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, S3, Route53, and EKS (Kubernetes).
- Azure Focus: Manage Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL, Virtual Networks, and Azure Active Directory integration.
- Implement security best practices for identity management, network security groups, encryption at rest and in transit, and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, HIPAA, SOC2) across both clouds.
- Manage cost optimization (FinOps) strategies, monitoring resource utilization and recommending cost-saving measures in both AWS and Azure.
- Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions are architected and tested across both cloud environments.

4. Monitoring,



Observability & Reliability (10%)

Ensuring the health, performance, and security of the infrastructure and applications.

- Implement comprehensive cloud monitoring and alerting strategies using tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus.
- Design dashboards that provide visibility into infrastructure health, application performance (APM), and business-critical KPIs.
- Configure actionable alerts to proactively identify and respond to incidents, reducing mean time to resolution (MTTR).
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical infrastructure outages and performance degradation.

5. Containerization & Kubernetes Support (10%)

Supporting the underlying platform for containerized applications.

- Manage and support Kubernetes clusters (EKS and AKS), ensuring cluster stability and upgrades.
- Assist development teams with containerization efforts (Dockerfiles) and application deployment strategies (Helm charts, Kustomize).
