Job Description: Business Development (Executive/Manager)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development (Executive/Manager) to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and drive growth for CML. You will be responsible for the strategic acquisition of new clients and expansion of existing accounts across key markets.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive international sales and forge strong relationships with clients in global markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding, international shipping, or logistics sales, and a solid understanding of trade lanes, customs, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate current business opportunities in international markets, focusing on sea freight, air freight, and cross-border logistics.

Develop and maintain relationships with international clients, agents, and partners.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential client needs.





Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting CML services and solutions.

Prepare customized proposals and quotations based on client requirements.

Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to ensure competitive and profitable service offerings.

Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and client meeting.

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client communications.

Provide periodic reports on sales performance, market feedback, and business pipeline.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

6+ years of experience in international logistics sales or freight forwarding for managerial level and 2+ years for Executive level.

Proven track record in B2B sales and business development.

Strong knowledge of global trade regulations, Incoterms, and international shipping documentation.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in MS Office.
