Backend Developer (Python / AWS / Terraform) - 5+ Years Experience

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
- Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and background workers.
- Architect and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Build and optimize data processing workflows using PySpark, AWS Glue.
- Integrate with databases, queues, and external services securely and efficiently.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for backend services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.

Core Skills

- Backend: Python, REST APIs, Microservices, DynamoDB, Authentication/Authorization
- Cloud & Infra: AWS (EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, Glue API Gateway, IAM, VPC), Terraform (IaC modules, remote state, multi-env).
- Data: PySpark, ETL/ELT concepts.
- DevOps: Git, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions / Jenkins), Docker, Dependency Management tools (Poetry, UV)
