Job Summary
Amitoje India is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production operations, maintaining quality standards, and improving productivity on the shop floor. The role involves coordinating with different departments to achieve production targets while minimizing costs and downtime.
Production Engineers play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing waste, and maintaining product quality in manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and company specifications
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams
- Maintain production reports, MIS, and documentation
- Implement process improvements (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime
- Train and guide production operators and staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- 2.5 years of experience in manufacturing or production
- Knowledge of production planning and process optimization
- Familiarity with quality tools and manufacturing practices
Key Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Positive communication and team coordination
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Leadership and decision-making skills
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience in printing / retail branding / display industry (if applicable to Amitoje India)
- Knowledge of Six Sigma / Kaizen
- Experience in handling production teams
