Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Analyst to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience in management consulting/ banking/ MFIs/ NBFCs/ Fintechs/ research space. The Analyst will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of institutional objectives by delivering exemplary services to clients by responding to the needs of specific projects and situations. He/she will be working in teams with the senior team members and will support project execution.

Responsibilities

- Participate in assignment planning, primary research and client presentations
- Lead shorter duration assignments under supervision by senior team members
- Execute assignments with attention to detail and focus on quality
- Data analysis and excellent business writing skills
- Be able to bring in structure and build concepts from limited information
- Build camaraderie with the team and strive towards individual contribution as well as being a team player
- Maintain seamless and transparent communication within the team
- Curious to learn and grow in the organization
- Achieve alignment with organizations work culture
- Open to frequent travel within the country and internationally occasionally
- Contribute to the development of MSCs toolkits and other publications




- Understanding of Indias financial services industry is desirable not mandatory

Essential Skills

- Previous experience in consulting or research will be an advantage
- Passionate about digital financial services and its application to achieve large-scale impact
- Ability to think and act strategically
- Understanding of payments systems and financial services is desirable
- Robust analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent report structuring and story boarding skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, both written and oral
- Ability to lead assignments under the supervision by senior team members
- Strong attention to detail with good field orientation and proven inter personal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point
- Ability to own your work and build accountability

Educational Qualification

Postgrad [ international development/public policy/rural management/public policy]
