Job Summary

Samarth Security Systems India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Service Engineer with experience in CCTV Surveillance, Electronic Security Systems, and Electronic Equipment Maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, breakdown support, and customer service for security products across the North Region.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or a related field.

Experience

- 5 years of relevant field service experience.

Preferred Technical Experience

Candidates with hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of one or more of the following:

- CCTV Surveillance Systems (IP & Analog)
- Network Video Recorders (NVR)
- Digital Video Recorders (DVR)
- Video Management Software (VMS)
- Door Frame Metal Detectors (DFMD)
- Hand-Held Metal Detectors (HHMD)
- X-Ray Baggage Inspection Systems (XBIS)
- Access Control & Biometric Systems
- Networking Equipment (Routers, Switches & LAN)
- UPS / Stabilizers
- Other Electronic or Electromechanical Equipment

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and commission CCTV Surveillance and Electronic Security Systems.
- Install and maintain Door Frame Metal Detectors, X-Ray Baggage Scanners, and related security equipment.
- Conduct site surveys and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware, software, and networking issues.




- Configure IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, remote monitoring, and mobile viewing applications.
- Perform preventive maintenance and attend breakdown service calls.
- Handle structured cabling, LAN connectivity, and system integration.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and provide customer training.
- Maintain service reports, installation reports, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams for timely service closure.
- Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of CCTV Surveillance Systems and Electronic Security Equipment.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, IP Addressing, Routers, Switches).
- Hands-on troubleshooting of electronic and electromechanical equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage field service activities.

Working Conditions

- Field-based role with frequent travel across the North Region.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Ability to work at heights and outdoor locations when required.
- Flexibility to attend emergency breakdown calls.
