About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced finance skilled with significant experience in controllership, financial planning & analysis (FP&A;), bidding, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of project-based work across sectors such as Defence, Infrastructure, and Real Estate, with a preference for candidates with experience managing government contracts.

As a Senior Finance Leader, he / she will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of large-scale projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting, and driving strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the controllership function to ensure financial accuracy, reporting integrity, and compliance with relevant laws and standards.

- Manage the FP&A; activities to provide strategic insights, budget forecasts, and recommendations to business leaders.
- Oversee project finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring of large-scale infrastructure and real estate projects.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare, review, and manage project budgets, cost control mechanisms, and ensure effective financial resource allocation.




- Manage the financial aspects of government contracts including bidding, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and contract terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial planning with business strategies.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and alignment with business goals.
- Continuously assess and improve internal financial processes, controls, and systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional finance qualification.

- 18-20 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in Defence and/or Infrastructure industries, preferably with project-based work.
- Experience managing government contracts is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and audit processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
