Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, Manual & Automation Testing.

In this role, we are looking for a detail-oriented Automation QA Consultant with 4+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in up-to-date automation tools, especially Playwright and Cypress, and be capable of contributing to high-quality software delivery through effective test design and execution.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for web applications.
- Perform manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and edge cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Cypress.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of automation frameworks.
- Write and manage test cases in Jira, ensuring proper traceability and coverage.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Explore and use AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage (added advantage).

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (MCPs) and Cypress (mandatory).




- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience writing and maintaining test cases in Jira.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

- Experience contributing to or maintaining automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or automation accelerators.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
