The Food and Beverage Associate (Steward) is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure. The role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and handling guest requests professionally.

Role & responsibilities

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes, ingredients, and beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Ensure tables are properly set before guests arrive.
- Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
- Process bills and handle cash, card, or digital payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations.




- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Upsell menu items, special dishes, and beverages to increase sales.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a waiter/server is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Working Conditions
