Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Nonprofit Solution Architect to support our growing portfolio of nonprofit clients. This role is responsible for owning end-to-end solution design, translating complex business needs into scalable Salesforce architectures, and providing technical leadership across delivery teams.
As a trusted advisor, you will lead discovery sessions, define solution blueprints, guide development teams, and partner with stakeholders to ensure successful, value-driven implementations on the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities
o Lead solution architecture and design for Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and related Salesforce platforms
o Conduct discovery workshops to understand nonprofit client processes, challenges, and goals
Translate business requirements into technical solution designs, including:
o Data models
o System architecture
o Integration architecture
o Recommend Salesforce best practices, balancing declarative vs. programmatic approaches
o Define build tasks, effort estimates, and oversee execution, dashboards, and UAT
o Provide hands-on support with Salesforce configuration, administration, and data migration when required
o Guide teams on use of AppExchange solutions (e.g., Conga, DocuSign, Accounting tools, etc.)
o Act as a Solution SME, supporting presales activities, proposal scoping, and solution walkthroughs
o Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Delivery Leads, and client stakeholders




o Mentor and support team members in their technical and professional growth
o Stay current with Salesforce releases and maintain relevant Salesforce certifications

Required Skills & Experience
o Proven experience working with or for nonprofit organizations, either as a consultant or in-house
o 6-10 years of experience on the Salesforce platform, including:
o Business analysis
o Solution design
o Project scoping
o 2+ years in a senior consulting or solution architecture role
o Robust hands-on expertise in Salesforce core platform
o Working knowledge of Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud concepts
o Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile or Hybrid delivery methodologies
o Ability to design entity relationship diagrams and object models
o Experience being client-facing, managing multiple stakeholders
o Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
o Ability to design practical, scalable solutions aligned with client goals

Certifications (Required / Preferred)
o Salesforce Administrator Required
o Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Required
o Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Required
o Minimum 34 Salesforce certifications preferred
o Nonprofit Cloud / NPSP experience highly preferred
Additional cloud certifications are a plus
