Urgent Hiring: Senior Shipping Manager Dry Bulk Chartering

A reputed and rapidly growing shipping and international trading company, currently managing a portfolio of more than 60 vessels, is looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Senior Shipping Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently handle dry bulk vessel chartering and complete shipping operations.
- Negotiate and finalize Voyage Charter and Time Charter agreements.
- Prepare and evaluate voyage estimates, freight calculations, laycan schedules, demurrage and dispatch calculations.
- Coordinate with shipowners, brokers, charterers, port agents, surveyors and operational teams.
- Arrange suitable vessels for transportation of dry cargo from Indian ports to African destinations and the Persian Gulf.
- Monitor vessel nomination, fixture, charter-party terms, loading, sailing and discharge operations.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with leading shipowners and international brokers.
- Ensure cost-effective freight negotiations and timely execution of each shipment.
- Handle operational issues, claims and documentation related to chartered vessels.

Candidate Profile

- Extensive experience in dry bulk shipping, vessel chartering and maritime operations.




- Strong knowledge of Time Charter, Voyage Charter, Laycan, Charter Party, Freight, Demurrage and Dispatch.
- Established relationships with reputed shipowners, vessel operators and brokers.
- Experience in handling cargo movements from India to Africa, the Middle East and Persian Gulf ports.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and commercial decision-making skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple vessels and shipments simultaneously.
- Candidates from shipping companies, chartering houses, shipbroking firms or commodity trading companies will be preferred.
