Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Claims Business Analyst to join our team and support insurance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in claims business processes, requirements analysis, and Duck Creek Claims implementation/configuration. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and QA teams to deliver effective claims solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Duck Creek Claims solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, claims users, product owners, developers, and testers to define and deliver solutions.
- Gather, document, and manage requirements using business analysis best practices.
- Support Duck Creek Claims implementation, configuration, enhancements, and production support activities.
- Understand end-to-end claims processes including FNOL, claim lifecycle, adjudication, payments, reserves, subrogation, and settlement.
- Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and functional documentation.
- Conduct gap analysis between business needs and Duck Creek Claims capabilities.
- Assist with solution design discussions and provide functional expertise to technical teams.
- Support system testing, UAT, defect analysis, and issue resolution.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of claims transformation projects.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend effective solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain.
- Hands-on experience working with Duck Creek Claims platform.
- Robust understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance claims processes.
- Experience in claims management systems implementation, configuration, or enhancement projects.
- Ability to create business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology teams.
- Experience with testing activities including test planning, UAT support, and defect management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Duck Creek Suite products such as Policy, Billing, or related modules.
- Knowledge of insurance industry standards, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management platforms.
- Prior experience working with global insurance clients.
