Role & responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Construction Management

- Supervise and drive the daily progress of all on-site interior activities including civil work, partitions, false ceilings, flooring, carpentry, painting, and specialized finishes.
- Ensure all execution strictly adheres to approved Working Drawings, Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, and 3D design renders.
- Take accurate site measurements before work begins (civil dimensions) and cross-verify them against furniture layouts to avoid structural alignment errors.

2. Sub-contractor & Vendor Coordination

- Manage, schedule, and coordinate various sub-contractors on-site (carpenters, electricians, HVAC technicians, painters, polishers, and plumbers).
- Resolve daily on-site technical clashes between different services (e.g., ensuring HVAC ducting does not clash with the false ceiling design or lighting layout).
- Coordinate with the central procurement team to schedule the timely arrival of raw materials, custom modular furniture, and fixtures to site.

3. Quality Assurance & Material Verification

- Implement strict quality control measures for all incoming site materials (checking wood grade, laminate thickness, paint batches, marble quality, etc.).
- Inspect workmanship at every milestone (e.g., checking the leveling of false ceilings,



alignment of tile grouting, and seamlessness of joinery).
- Create and systematically clear punch lists/snag lists prior to handing the project over to the client.

4. Reporting, Billing & Safety

- Maintain a Daily Progress Report (DPR) and communicate site status, roadblocks, and material requirements to the Project Manager/Design Head.
- Verify work done by sub-contractors and certify their measurement sheets for billing clearance.
- Enforce strict on-site health, safety, and cleanliness standards, ensuring workers wear proper safety gear (PPE).

Preferred candidate profile

- Drawing Literacy: Advanced capability to accurately interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, electrical conduit layouts, and detailed carpentry/joinery sections.
- Fit-out Expertise: Deep practical knowledge of interior materials (MDF, Plywood, Veneers, Acrylics, Corian, Wallpaper) and their respective installation techniques.
- MEP Alignment: Explicit understanding of how HVAC, electrical, fire fighting, and plumbing services must integrate behind walls and false ceilings.
- Software Familiarity: Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD (to view/verify dimensions on-site) and MS Excel (for tracking daily progress and checking measurements).
