Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks and Xero to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping & Financial Management

- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Record daily transactions, invoices, and expenses
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

Accountants are responsible for maintaining accurate records and preparing financial reports to support business decisions

2. Software Management (QuickBooks & Xero)

- Handle end-to-end accounting on QuickBooks and/or Xero
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Generate P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Ensure proper categorization and bookkeeping hygiene

Modern roles require proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, etc.

3. Financial Reporting & Analysis





- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities

4. Compliance & Audits

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Assist in audits and maintain proper documentation
- Prepare GST filings / tax-related reports (India-specific if needed)

5. Payroll & Expense Management

- Manage payroll processing and reimbursements
- Track expenses and ensure timely vendor payments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 25 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping
- Robust hands-on experience with QuickBooks (“lovable”) and Xero
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP basics preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
