Key Responsibilities

- Administer and manage the Power BI Service setting, including tenant settings and governance.
- Configure and manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports, dashboards, and apps.
- Manage Premium Capacity, Fabric Capacity, and licensing.
- Install, configure, and maintain On-Premises Data Gateways.
- Monitor dataset refresh schedules and troubleshoot refresh failures.
- Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).
- Configure and manage Azure Active Directory integration, RBAC, and security groups.
- Perform workspace lifecycle management, access provisioning, and user onboarding.
- Monitor Power BI Service health, audit logs, and usage metrics.
- Develop automation using PowerShell scripts and Power BI REST APIs.




- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes for Power BI artifacts.
- Implement governance standards, naming conventions, and workspace policies.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Cloud Engineers, and Business Users.
- Provide L2/L3 production support and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents.
- Ensure platform performance, scalability, and high availability.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
