Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs, customer requirements, and product development teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in business analysis, product ownership, Agile delivery, requirement gathering, backlog management, and process improvement.
This role requires someone who can understand business problems, convert them into clear product requirements, prioritize features based on business value, manage product backlog, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality product increments.
The candidate will work closely with leadership, product, engineering, design, QA, sales, customer support, operations, and other stakeholders to drive product improvements and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product Ownership & Backlog Management

- Own and manage the product backlog by understanding business goals, customer needs, and product priorities.
- Define, prioritize, and maintain product features, enhancements, and improvements.
- Translate business objectives into actionable product requirements.
- Apply prioritization frameworks like MoSCoW (Must Have, Should Have, Could Have, Won't Have) to maximize business value.
- Make effective product trade-off decisions considering customer impact, technical feasibility, and business priorities.
- Ensure backlog items are properly refined, prioritized, and ready for development.

2. Business Requirement Analysis & Documentation

- Gather requirements from leadership, customers, internal teams, and business stakeholders.
- Analyze business problems and convert them into clear product/software requirements.
- Prepare detailed documentation including:
- BRD (Business Requirement Document)
- FRD (Functional Requirement Document)
- User Stories
- Use Cases
- Acceptance Criteria
- Process Flow Diagrams
- Product Requirement Documents (PRD)

- Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and understandable for engineering and QA teams.

3. User Stories & Acceptance Criteria

- Create detailed user stories following Agile methodology.




- Define clear acceptance criteria to ensure expected outcomes are achieved.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to clarify requirements during development.
- Validate completed features against business requirements.
- Support UAT and ensure delivered solutions meet customer and business expectations.

4. Agile Delivery & Sprint Management

- Drive Agile ceremonies including:
- Backlog Refinement
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospectives
- Release Planning

- Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, and stakeholders to deliver quality product increments.
- Monitor sprint progress and identify risks, dependencies, and blockers.
- Ensure timely delivery aligned with product roadmap.

5. Jira & Product Management Tools

- Strong hands-on experience with Jira for:
- Product backlog management
- User story creation
- Sprint planning
- Issue tracking
- Dashboards
- Reporting

- Experience with Jira Plans / Advanced Roadmaps will be preferred.
- Ability to track delivery progress through Jira reports and dashboards.

6. Agile Metrics & Reporting

- Strong understanding of Agile delivery metrics including:
- Velocity Tracking
- Burndown Charts
- Sprint Predictability
- Release Planning
- Delivery Performance

- Analyze sprint performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide product delivery insights to stakeholders and leadership.

7. Business Process Analysis & Improvement

- Study existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze workflow gaps, operational challenges, ownership issues, and inefficiencies.
- Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, SOPs, and system enhancements.
- Perform root cause analysis and suggest corrective actions.

8. CRM, Customer Workflow & System Analysis

- Analyze customer journeys, CRM workflows, ticketing systems, and operational processes.




- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and internal efficiency.
- Define system enhancements, automation requirements, and reporting needs.
- Work with teams to improve customer onboarding, support, and operational workflows.

9. Data-Driven Product Decisions

- Analyze customer feedback, product usage data, and business metrics.
- Use insights to recommend product improvements.
- Support decision-making through reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Identify trends, customer pain points, and feature improvement opportunities.

10. Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with:
- Product Management
- Engineering Teams
- QA Teams
- Design Teams
- Sales Teams
- Customer Support
- Operations Teams
- Leadership

- Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical execution.
- Communicate priorities, timelines, dependencies, and risks effectively.
- Act as a bridge between business teams and development teams.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst, Product Ownership , Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience managing product backlog and prioritizing features.
- Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills.

- Strong knowledge of Jira and Agile project management practices.
- Understanding of product development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to understand technical discussions and coordinate with engineering teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment.

Good To Have Skills

- Experience working with SaaS / Product-based companies.
- Experience in CRM, ERP, workflow automation, or enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of:

- Basic understanding of UI/UX and wireframing tools like Figma.
- Experience with tools like:
