Role & responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Strategy (80%):
- Own end-to-end talent acquisition activities across all business units, including workforce planning, sourcing strategy, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management.
- Develop and execute hiring plans to meet business requirements within defined timelines.
- Manage multiple sourcing channels including job portals, social media, employee referrals, recruitment agencies, campus hiring, and other talent networks.
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, define job specifications, and ensure timely closure of positions.
- Build and maintain a solid talent pipeline for critical and recurring roles.
- Lead recruitment for both blue-collar and white-collar workforce across multiple locations.
- Conduct recruitment analytics, track hiring metrics (TAT, cost per hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance ratio), and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure smooth onboarding processes, including documentation, background verification, induction, and joining formalities.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations including attendance management, payroll coordination, employee records, and full & final settlements.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Address employee queries and grievances while ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Support performance management processes including KPI alignment, appraisal coordination, and improvement plans.
Payroll, Compliance & HR Governance
- Coordinate accurate and timely payroll processing for 80150+ employees while ensuring statutory compliance.
- Maintain compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Support labour audits, inspections, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain HRMS accuracy, employee data confidentiality, and generate HR reports/analytics for management decision-making.
- Identify HR risks, strengthen policies, and work with leadership/legal teams on compliance matters.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / HR Generalist roles, with minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong hands-on experience managing high-volume recruitment and end-to-end hiring processes.
- Experience handling multi-location workforce recruitment.
- Exposure to both blue-collar and white-collar hiring.
- Experience managing recruitment for hospitality, retail, FMCG, or other multi-unit businesses preferred.
- Experience managing payroll coordination for 80150+ employees.
- Exposure to labour compliance, inspections, and employee relations matters.
- Experience handling disciplinary cases and domestic inquiries will be an added advantage.
NOTE: 5-8 years in HR Generalist roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience in hospitality, retail, FMCG, or multi-location businesses preferred.
Work Schedule: 6 days working (Sunday off)
Work Timings: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
