Position: Logistics & Traffic Operations Manager (Transportation Company)

Location: Delhi, India (On-site)

Salary: 35000-70000 per month

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Traffic Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics and traffic operations. This role involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, and improving logistics efficiency. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, proactive, and experienced in traffic management and supply chain logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vendor Management: Develop and expand recent vendor relationships, negotiate spot rates, and ensure vendor compliance.
- Traffic Operations: Oversee vehicle movement, optimize dispatch schedules, and monitor vehicle utilization.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure on-time deliveries, maintain our 98.82% on-time appointment record, and improve turnaround times.
- Data & Decision Making: Utilize analytics to improve traffic flow, predict delays, and mitigate risks.




- Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for seamless operations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- On-time appointment record: Maintain or improve 98.82% delivery timeliness.
- Detention & turnaround time: Reduce vehicle detention time and improve turnaround by at least 15% over six months.
- Cost reduction: Implement cost-saving strategies to lower overall traffic operations expenses.
- Incident resolution time: Reduce issue resolution time for delivery and vehicle delays by 20%.

Qualifications:

- Any graduate (preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration).
- Experience in traffic management, supply chain logistics, and vendor development.
- Strong data analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements
