Project Engineering Manager

Location: Delhi, India - Immediate joiners preferred

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager (PEM) to lead multidisciplinary engineering activities for oil & gas projects. The successful candidate will possess a strong engineering management background, excellent leadership capabilities, and extensive experience in delivering engineering projects from the FEED stage through detailed engineering while driving productivity, innovation, and continuous process improvement.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Piping discipline preferred).
- Minimum 14 years of experience with 5 years in the position of EM in the EPC oil & gas industry.
- Proven experience in engineering management for large EPC projects.
- Having experience of Entire spectrum of EPC spectrum with knowledge of Procurement and construction will be added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed engineering.
- Solid exposure to both greenfield and brownfield refinery and upstream oil & gas facilities.
- Sound understanding of multidisciplinary engineering coordination and project execution.
- Experience in developing and strengthening engineering teams, engineering procedures, and organizational processes.
- Strong knowledge of engineering productivity management and performance improvement.
- Good understanding of modern 3D engineering and plant modeling systems and engineering model management.
- Exposure to implementing or driving AI-enabled engineering solutions to improve engineering workflows and productivity.
- Good understanding of project planning, engineering schedules, and resource management.




- Strong awareness of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and industry best practices.
- Willingness to be based in Delhi, India.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete engineering function in oil & gas projects from FEED through detailed engineering.
- Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Drive engineering productivity, resource optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop engineering teams, engineering standards, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Support the implementation of AI-driven engineering tools and digital transformation initiatives.
- Oversee engineering planning, progress monitoring, and interface management across all disciplines.
- Ensure effective utilization and management of 3D engineering models and engineering data.
- Provide technical leadership and engineering guidance throughout project execution.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, international codes, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Work closely with project management, procurement, construction, and client teams to ensure successful project execution.

Employment Terms
Initial contract duration of one (1) year, with the possibility of extension for an additional one (1) year, subject to project requirements and satisfactory performance. Candidates must be willing to work in Delhi, India for the duration of the contract. Based on business requirements, project needs, and individual performance, there may be future opportunities for transfer to the company's Hyderabad, India office or to projects in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
