Role Summary

The GNM Staff Nurse will play a vital role in supporting patient care and rehabilitation by providing nursing services, maintaining a therapeutic workplace, and assisting doctors, psychologists, and counselors in daily clinical and therapeutic activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide round-the-clock medical and nursing care to patients in the rehabilitation facility.
- Administer medicines as prescribed by doctors and maintain detailed treatment records.
- Monitor patients physical and mental health parameters and report any changes promptly.
- Assist in managing withdrawal,



detoxification, and follow-up care procedures.
- Support therapists and counselors during treatment sessions as needed.
- Ensure hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols within the center are maintained.
- Prepare and update medical documentation and patient progress notes.
- Participate in health education and awareness programs for patients and families.

Qualifications and Requirements

- GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) qualification from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council registration (preferably Uttarakhand State Nursing Council).
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or mental health setting preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and an empathetic approach to patient care.
