ROLE OVERVIEW: SENIOR SALESFORCE DEVELOPER

The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for leading the technical design and delivery of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Trade Promotion Management and related platforms. The role combines deep platform expertise with leadership responsibilities owning architecture decisions, driving deployment best practices, and enabling team capability.

The range of responsibilities encompass but are not limited to:

- Lead technical design and architecture of complex Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds
- Develop and review Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Architect and own end-to-end integrations with external systems via REST, SOAP, and platform events
- Define and enforce development standards, code review processes, and deployment strategies
- Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and pair programming
- Manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Salesforce Developer Experience (DX) and GitHub Actions
- Partner with product owners, admins, and architects to translate complex requirements into scalable designs
- Proactively identify technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and governor limit risks

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Senior Developer

Knowledge Preferred

Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience and/or knowledge in the following areas:

- Salesforce Platform & Development: Deep expertise in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and declarative automation including Flows and Process Builder.
- Integration Architecture: Design and implementation of REST, SOAP, and event-driven integrations using platform events and change data capture.




- DevOps & Release Management: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Developer Experience (DX), scratch orgs, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
- Security & Governance: Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and multi-org strategies.
- Architecture Patterns: Knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns, governor limit management, and scalable data model design.

Skills Preferred

Candidates should be able to demonstrate extensive technical delivery abilities within a project team that includes the following:

Salesforce Development

- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience in production environments
- Deep expertise in Apex, Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) / Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative automation (Flows, Process Builder)
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification; App Builder or Architect certifications a solid plus
- Experience with complex integrations — middleware, event-driven patterns (platform events, change data capture)
- Familiarity with Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and multi-org strategies

DevOps & Deployment

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Developer Experience (DX), scratch orgs, and source-driven development




- Manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and pipeline-as-code practices

Leadership & Delivery

- Background in leading or mentoring a development team over an extended period
- Participate in client discovery sessions, requirement refinement workshops, and solution design reviews
- Execute unit testing; support system integration testing / user acceptance testing (SIT/UAT) cycles; manage defect triage and resolution
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
- Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or other Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) platforms
- Familiarity with Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Field Service Lightning (FSL), or Marketing Cloud
- Knowledge of Einstein Analytics / Tableau Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Data Cloud
- Exposure to large-scale org migrations or multi-cloud implementations
- Agile delivery experience in an enterprise environment

Educational Background

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; OR
- Equivalent professional experience with demonstrated Salesforce expertise and relevant certifications

Additional Information

- Travel Requirements: Travel to client or office locations may be required as per project requirements.
- Experience: 6+ years of prior relevant Salesforce development experience in production environments. Experience in an enterprise or consulting environment will be a strong advantage.
