Hiring: Production Manager Machine Shop (Aerospace)

Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore

Candidate Criteria

Candidates who have handled a production pool of 500+ employees can be considered with 10+ years of experience.

Candidates who have handled a production pool of less than 500 employees should have 15+ years of experience.

Kannada language proficiency is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Lead production operations for CNC, HMC, VMC, and precision machining lines.
Plan and execute production schedules to achieve customer delivery targets.
Improve machine utilization, manpower productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.
Troubleshoot machining and quality issues using RCA, 5 Why, 8D, and Fishbone analysis.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and operators.
Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Procurement to ensure smooth production operations.

Required Skills

15+ years of experience in CNC/HMC machine shop operations (Aerospace experience preferred)




Solid knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, fixtures, and GD&T;
Hands-on experience in manufacturing problem-solving and process improvement
Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Aerospace certifications will be an added advantage.
