the exclusive subsidiary and engineering support center for the Group. Acting as the group's engineering backbone,

support in various areas, including project management, project engineering, quality planning, detail engineering,

JOB DESCRIPTION
To prepare 3D models, GA drawings, subassembly drawings, individual part drawings, and Bills of Materials
(BOMs) for pressure vessels in compliance with engineering design, applicable design codes, and customer
specifications.
ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE
1. The design engineer prepares the heat exchangers and pressure vessels drawing on the basis of 3d model.
2. He or she observes the specified pressure vessel codes and standards, the internal design standard and additional
customer requirements, taking into account the manufacturing facilities of the selected manufacturer.
3. He or she specifies all necessary semi-finished products.
4. He or she determines the dimensions of the components on the basis of the specified codes and standards.
5. Performs validations between the model, drawing and the calculation documents.
6. For more complex calculations such as Finite Element stress analysis, fatigue analysis, vibration calculation or
proof of stability, he may rely on support of experts.
7. His or her tasks also include maintenance of the engineering documents in the Balcke-Drr database.

Responsible for monitoring the quality of the drawings from build to released status.
9. Review of material test certificate & manufacturing data book (MDB).

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or above
Expert level knowledge in CREO
5+ years of work experience in the manufacturing and design of heat transfer equipment or plant construction.

Basic understanding of ASME Sec. VIII Div.1 and European codes
Good knowledge of the production processes used in the manufacture of heat transfer equipment
Basic understanding of ASME Sec. IX & V and European manufacturing codes

Good knowledge of 3D modeling program (CREO) and 2D CAD program (CREO)
CERTIFICATION/OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Familiar with spreadsheet programs, word processing and database applications
Certified proficiency of CREO
Certified basic knowledge of AutoCad
Knowledge of NDT & Welding will be an added advantage
Very good command of English is a must; both written and spoken
