Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Software Architect with strong expertise in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and HMI development for Automotive IVI/Digital Cockpit platforms. The candidate will be responsible for defining end-to-end software architecture, driving technical decisions, reviewing designs, solving complex system issues, and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive end-to-end architecture for AAOS-based IVI and Digital Cockpit systems.
- Architect, design, and review AAOS platform components and HMI applications.
- Collaborate with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver production-quality solutions.
- Lead system-level debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization activities.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest AAOS releases and upcoming platform features.

Required Technical Skills

- Robust expertise in Android Automotive OS (AAOS), including latest releases (AAOS 17+)



and upcoming platform features.
- Deep understanding of Android Platform internals including System Server, Window Manager, SurfaceFlinger, Binder IPC, Input Framework, and Android Framework Services.
- Hands-on experience with VHAL, Car Power Management, Car Audio, Car Display, Multi-Display, Multi-User, and Occupant Zone architectures.
- Experience in designing and reviewing AAOS HMI applications and platform solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Qualcomm Automotive/HPC-C SoCs and QNX Hypervisor-based systems.
- Proven expertise in Android platform integration, debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Ability to create and drive end-to-end solution architecture from requirements to production.
- Hands-on software development experience with strong design and code review capabilities.

Desired Qualifications

- M.S./M.Tech, B.E., or B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in Automotive IVI, Digital Cockpit, and Android Automotive programs.
- Exposure to working with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and semiconductor vendors.
