Senior Estimation Executive

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimation Executive to join our team. The role involves leading cost estimation, quantity take-off, RFQ management, proposal preparation, and tender support activities for BIM-based engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to leverage contemporary technologies, including AI-powered tools, to improve estimation accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, quotations, and tender submissions for BIM-based projects.

Coordinate with BIM and Engineering teams to verify project data and ensure estimation accuracy.

Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents to accurately interpret project scope and requirements.

Perform quantity take-offs and support cost breakdown, rate analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Prepare and manage RFQs (Request for Quotations) by coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Evaluate vendor quotations, conduct commercial comparisons, and support vendor selection processes.

Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing records, and estimation templates.

Provide data support for project planning, procurement, and tender submissions.





Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission of proposals and commercial documents.

Utilize AI-powered tools and automation technologies to improve estimation accuracy, streamline workflows, analyze project data, generate proposal content, and enhance overall productivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

Any Graduate / Post Graduate with relevant estimation experience may also be considered.

5+ years of experience in estimation, costing, quantity take-off, tendering, or commercial operations.

Experience in engineering, construction, BIM, infrastructure, or MEP projects is preferred.

Experience in vendor management and RFQ processes is an added advantage.

Desired Skills

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis.

Good understanding of cost estimation, quantity take-off, and tendering processes.

Knowledge of RFQ preparation, vendor evaluation, and commercial analysis.

Familiarity with BIM and engineering workflows.

Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar productivity platforms.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Immediate joiners preferred.

Experience in BIM-based projects will be an added advantage.
