This role is to design, develop and implement automation solutions within the control automation project. You will play a key part in streamlining processes, improving efficiency and ensuring robust control mechanisms are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
To be successful as a Developer-Automation-Controls, you should have experience with:
- Robust experience in automation technologies and frameworks.
- Solid programming skills (for example, Python, Java or similar languages).
- Knowledge of control systems and their integration with automated processes.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Previous experience working on control automation projects.
- Exposure to industry-standard automation tools and platforms.
- Understanding of compliance requirements related to automation and controls.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile methodology experience is a plus
