Role & responsibilities

- Drive user story analysis and elaboration, design and develop software applications, and test and build automation tools.
- Own all technical aspects of software development (architecture, design and development of systems) for assigned applications.
- Perform hands-on software development, writing code, API specs, doing proof of concepts, conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints.
- Drive consistent development practices - tools and common components.
- Develop deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains.
- Work with technical product managers contributing to blueprints, and assisting with annual planning of feature sets.
- Identify opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges.
- Effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on solution design.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Science Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- 4+ years of professional software development experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale applications.




- Robust proficiency in distributed and multi-tier application development, with excellent programming skills in Python (or equivalent object-oriented programming languages).
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying Generative AI applications using LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel, along with embeddings and vector databases.
- Experience building Agentic AI solutions, including autonomous planning, tool/function calling, memory management, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and multi-agent orchestration.
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) fundamentals, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and Responsible AI principles.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems, RESTful APIs, event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka), and relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven, or similar).
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, design patterns, system design, REST/HTTP APIs, and Unix/Linux environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with the ability to develop scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within Agile development teams
