Job Summary

The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The role involves processing payments, maintaining cash registers, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Role & responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, skilled service.
- Process cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and change as required.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance it at the end of each shift.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Assist in stocking shelves and keeping the checkout area clean and organized.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and security.
- Support inventory checks and other store operations as needed.
