Roles & Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) as per standard operating procedures.

- Monitor treatment processes to ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board norms.

- Regularly check inlet and outlet water parameters such as pH, TDS, BOD, COD, TSS, etc.

- Handle dosing of chemicals and ensure optimum chemical consumption.

- Maintain daily operation logs, shift records, and treatment reports.

- Attend minor breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance team for major issues.

- Ensure proper functioning of pumps, blowers, motors, filters, and pipelines.

- Follow safety guidelines and maintain housekeeping around the plant area.

- Support audits and inspections by statutory authorities when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in operating ETP systems.

- Basic knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes.

- Ability to work in shifts and handle plant operations independently.

- Positive understanding of safety practices and environmental compliance.

- ITI / Diploma candidates will be preferred.Role & responsibilities
