Role & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end testing strategy, planning, and execution for Verisk Rulebook / Sequel Rulebook insurance products.
- Validate insurance pricing calculations against Excel pricing models and actuarial rating sheets.
- Perform Functional, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Integration Testing.
- Design and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Test underwriting rules, rating logic, business rules, referrals, quote-to-bind journeys, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
- Track, manage, and resolve defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Underwriters, Developers, Product Owners, and Actuarial teams.
- Support release planning, production readiness, and business sign-off.
- Mentor junior testers and ensure high-quality testing deliverables.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 712+ years of experience in Software Testing,



with at least 3 years as a Test Lead.
- Strong hands-on experience with Verisk Rulebook / Sequel Rulebook is highly preferred.
- Experience in P&C; (General Insurance) and Insurance Rating Engine Testing.
- Solid knowledge of pricing validation, underwriting rules, and business rules testing.
- Hands-on experience in Functional, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Integration Testing.
- Good understanding of SQL, XML/JSON, and test management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Candidates with experience in FICO Blaze, IBM ODM, Drools, InRule, Guidewire, or Duck Creek insurance rating/rules engines may also be considered.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
