Role: PLC & SCADA Engineer / Automation Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

- Develop, program, test, and commission PLC & SCADA systems.
- Work with Siemens, Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), and Mitsubishi PLCs.
- Develop HMI/SCADA applications using WinCC, FactoryTalk View, GT Designer, or equivalent platforms.
- Configure industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profibus, OPC UA, and CC-Link.
- Prepare electrical I/O lists, control philosophy, PLC architecture, and functional descriptions.
- Perform FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
- Integrate VFDs, servo drives, remote I/O, instrumentation, and third-party equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial network issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, backup programs, and commissioning reports.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and design teams during project execution.
- Provide customer support and training after project completion.
- Willingness to travel for installation, commissioning, and customer support across India and overseas when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation, or related discipline.
- 0–5 years of experience in industrial automation.
- Freshers with strong PLC/SCADA training and project exposure are also encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on knowledge of one or more PLC platforms:
- Siemens (S7-1200, S7-1500, TIA Portal)
- Allen-Bradley (CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Studio 5000)




- Mitsubishi (FX Series, iQ-R, GX Works)

- Experience in SCADA/HMI development using WinCC, FactoryTalk View, Mitsubishi GOT/GT Designer, or similar software.
- Basic knowledge of industrial networking and field instrumentation.
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, motion control, and process automation is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Passion for learning new automation technologies and handling challenging projects.
