Job Overview:

We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team for our ongoing construction project in Chennai. With your experience and profile, we would like to share this opportunity with you. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures at the project site.
- Conduct inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and test records.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors for quality-related activities.




- Monitor material quality and ensure approved materials are used at the site.
- Ensure all work complies with contract specifications, IS codes, and project quality requirements.
- Raise and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate laboratory and field testing of construction materials.
- Participate in client and consultant inspections and quality audits.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures in civil construction projects.
- Positive understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and relevant IS codes.
- Experience in quality inspections, material testing, and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and quality documentation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification:

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
