AI/ML Engineer

Full-time | 4-8+ Years Experience | Hyderabad / Chennai

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a AI/ML Engineer who combines robust traditional Machine Learning and statistical modeling foundations with hands-on, production-grade experience building LLM-powered and multi-agent AI systems. This is an individual-ownership role for a builder who can move fluidly between classical ML pipelines and modern agentic architectures, delivering measurable business impact end-to-end - from ideation to deployment and monitoring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Traditional ML & Statistical Modeling

- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end ML models using Python, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, and advanced statistical techniques

- Build robust data pipelines and feature engineering frameworks with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability

- Apply statistical modeling, causal inference, and experimentation (A/B testing, uplift modeling) to solve complex business problems

- Ensure model governance, explainability (SHAP/LIME), and compliance in regulated environments

GenAI & Agentic AI

- Design and build multi-agent AI systems using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent

- Architect and implement RAG pipelines with vector databases (FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone, ChromaDB)

- Develop and fine-tune LLM-based applications using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models (Llama, Mistral)

- Build and maintain agentic workflows - tool use, function calling, memory systems, orchestration layers

MLOps, Delivery & Collaboration

- Implement MLOps/GenAIOps best practices: experiment tracking (MLflow), model versioning, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, and drift detection

- Own the full delivery lifecycle: requirements to architecture to build to test to deploy to monitor

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable ML/AI solutions and communicate insights clearly

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to reusable ML/AI frameworks and best practices





MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Traditional Machine Learning

- XGBoost, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, etc.

- Feature Engineering, Handling Imbalanced Data

- Model Evaluation, Cross-Validation, Hyperparameter Tuning

Agentic & Gen AI

- LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI / AutoGen, Multi-agent orchestration

- Tool use / Function calling, Prompt engineering

- RAG pipelines, Vector Databases, Embeddings, Fine-tuning (LoRA/PEFT), VLLM

MLOps & Engineering

- MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD

- Model Monitoring, Drift Detection, Model Governance, Observability

- Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), SQL, PySpark, FastAPI, REST APIs

Domain & Business Impact

- Proven experience delivering ML/AI solutions with quantifiable business outcomes

- Experience in Banking, Insurance, Pharmaceutical, or enterprise SaaS domains preferred

GOOD-TO-HAVE SKILLS

- A2A Protocol and advanced multi-agent orchestration patterns

- Cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI)

- Real-time document parsing, OCR, or multimodal models

- Published work - GitHub projects, technical blogs, or research papers

- Azure Certifications (Data Scientist Associate, AI Engineer Associate)

- Causal inference techniques (PSM, Difference-in-Differences)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- 5-7+ years of overall experience in Data Science / ML / AI engineering

- Demonstrated hands-on production experience in traditional ML AND at least 1-2+ years working specifically with LLMs / agentic frameworks

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

- Proven track record of independently delivered, business-impacting AI/ML products or features
