Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality teaching and non-teaching talent.
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower planning to onboarding.
- Coordinate with Heads of Departments to understand staffing requirements.
- Build relationships with recruitment consultants, job portals, and educational institutions.
- Ensure timely hiring while maintaining quality standards.
2. HR Operations
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, promotions, transfers, and separation.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Ensure proper maintenance of personnel files and HRIS.
3. Performance Management
- Design and administer the Performance Management System (PMS).
- Coordinate annual appraisals, promotions, and salary revisions.
- Guide department heads in conducting performance reviews.
- Monitor employee performance and recommend developmental interventions.
4. Payroll & Compensation
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with accuracy.
- Ensure timely processing of salary revisions, incentives, and statutory deductions.
- Verify attendance, leave records, and payroll inputs.
- Assist in compensation benchmarking and salary structure planning.
5. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Oversee PF, ESI,
Gratuity, Skilled Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
- Liaise with government authorities when required.
6. Employee Relations
- Build and maintain positive employee relations.
- Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues effectively.
- Promote a healthy and inclusive work culture.
- Conduct disciplinary proceedings in accordance with institutional policies.
7. Learning & Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Develop annual training calendars.
- Coordinate faculty development programmes and staff training initiatives.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and employee development.
8. Policy Development
- Frame, review, and update HR policies.
- Ensure consistent implementation of institutional policies.
- Recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
9. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare monthly HR MIS and dashboards.
- Analyse manpower trends, attrition, recruitment metrics, and employee engagement data.
- Present HR reports to the Management.
10. Employee Engagement
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives.
- Organise recognition programmes, cultural events, wellness activities, and celebrations.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and recommend improvements.
11. Compliance with Accreditation Requirements
