Job Summary

The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, servicing, and advanced troubleshooting of electronic, automation, wireless, and IoT-based industrial products. The role requires strong PCB-level fault diagnosis skills, customer interaction and hands-on field support.

Role & responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic PCB assemblies at the component level.
- Analyse electronic circuits using schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Perform signal tracing, voltage/current measurements, and root cause analysis to identify hardware faults.
- Repair and rework PCBs using soldering and hot air rework stations.
- Use electronic test and measurement equipment such as Multimeters, CRO/DSO, and LCR meters for testing and validation.
- Work on analog, digital, power electronics, and SMPS-based circuits.
- Support testing, maintenance, and commissioning of microcontroller-based embedded systems.
- Assist in PLC-based industrial control systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.




- Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols, including RS232, RS485, and Modbus (RTU/TCP).
- Support integration and basic troubleshooting of wireless and IoT-enabled systems.
- Maintain accurate service reports, repair documentation, and test records.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous product improvement.
- Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and company guidelines during all repair and testing activities.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in component-level and PCB-level repair

• Knowledge of embedded firmware loading / debugging

• Exposure to industrial IoT and wireless automation

• Valid two-wheeler driving license

• Willingness to travel across India

• Robust problem-solving skills

• Good communication and customer-handling skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team
