SAP GTS (Global Trade System) Consultant

Position Overview:

An SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Consultant designs, implements, and supports solutions for global trade compliance, managing areas like customs, screening (SPL/embargo), Product Classification, and Trade Preferences (FTAs) within SAP S/4HANA (or) ECC systems, ensuring seamless integration with logistics/finance and adherence to international regulations, requiring strong functional skills, documentation, and end-user training.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and configure SAP GTS modules (Compliance, Customs, Risk Management) for clients, including embargo checks, SPL screening, customs declarations, and preference processing.
- Connect SAP GTS with core SAP (SD/ECC/S/4HANA) and external systems for data flow.
- Gather requirements, translate them into functional designs, and propose process improvements.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve tickets, monitor performance, and apply updates/enhancements.




- Create technical specs, process docs, and train end-users.
- Ensure adherence to global trade regulations and support audits.
- Work with business users, legal, supply chain, and technical teams

Qualifications:

- Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management, Classification, Preferences, Trade Agreements.
- Nice to have Experience with S/4HANA, ABAP (BAPIs, BADIs, IDOCs, CDS), SPROXY, Adobe Forms (for technical roles).
- SD (Sales & Distribution), Logistics, Supply Chain.
- Problem-solving, communication, analytical thinking, teamwork.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with both technical teams and business users.

Desired Skills:

- SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other advanced SAP technologies.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills multi system environments.
