We are looking for an accomplished General Manager Finance & Accounts to lead and strengthen the finance function for a high-growth, technology-driven manufacturing organization.

The ideal candidate will bring solid exposure to factory accounting, project-based finance, costing, working capital management, and ERP-led financial transformation, preferably within Defence, Aerospace, Strategic Electronics, or High-End Manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

Lead a

Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual performance, delivering strategic financial insights to leadership.

Drive project-based accounting, including Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting for long-term contracts. Costing & Inventory Management

Oversee Product Costing and Standard Costing frameworks for pricing accuracy and profitability analysis.

Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP), inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost efficiencies. Statutory Compliance & Audit

Ensure complete compliance with GST, Income Tax, Customs, and regulatory requirements.

Lead preparation of financial statements in accordance with Ind AS standards.

Manage internal and statutory audits,



ensuring timely closure with minimal observations. Treasury & Working Capital Management Drive effective cash flow and liquidity planning for large-scale manufacturing operations.

Manage banking relationships for working capital limits, Letters of Credit (LCs), and Bank Guarantees (BGs). Strategic Finance Leadership Partner closely with Production and Supply Chain teams to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Lead ERP finance transformation initiatives (SAP / Oracle / ERP systems) to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Educational Qualification

Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

ICWA / CMA Preferred Experience

1820 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts. Technical Expertise

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of Factory Accounting & Internal Financial Controls (IFC)

Expertise in Costing, Inventory Accounting, FP&A;, Treasury, Compliance & Audit

Hands-on experience in ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle) and Advanced MS Excel
