Job Description:

Role Overview

The Pricing Operations role is responsible for developing, validating, and managing pricing models for client engagements. The role ensures alignment between business requirements, financial targets (GPM/TCV), and organizational pricing standards while supporting deal approvals and SOW/Change Order processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pricing s Financial Modelling

Develop pricing models based on PR (Price to Client) and BR (Bill Rate) inputs

Ensure alignment with target Gross Profit Margin (GPM) and financial guidelines

Validate effort estimates, rates, and cost structures (Onshore, Nearshore, Offshore)

Perform scenario analysis to optimize pricing strategies

2. Deal Support s Commercial Structuring

Support creation of SOWs (Statement of Work) and Change Orders (COs)

Align pricing with deal structure (Fixed Price, TCM,



Milestone-based)

Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Finance teams for deal closure

Ensure pricing consistency with approved business case and opportunity details

3. Governance s Compliance

Ensure all pricing follows internal policies and approval workflows

Validate Salesforce Opportunity IDs, deal details, and documentation completeness

Maintain version control of pricing sheets and avoid uncontrolled changes

Support audit requirements and financial compliance checks

4. Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with:

o Sales / Business Teams

o Delivery / Project Managers

o Finance / Pricing Ops / Deal Desk

Clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies in pricing inputs

Provide timely updates and support approval processes

5. Reporting s Analysis

Track deal metrics such as:

o TCV (Total Contract Value)

o GPM (%)

o Cost vs Revenue breakdown

Highlight risks, margin impacts, and deviations

Required Skills s Qualifications Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, financial models, pivot tables)

Experience with pricing tools / financial systems / Salesforce

Understanding of cost structures, margins, and revenue models

Domain Knowledge

Experience in IT services / consulting / outsourcing pricing models

Experience in Deal Desk / Commercial Operations / Pricing Strategy

Exposure to SOW and contract lifecycle management

Knowledge of:

o Fixed Price / TCM / Managed Services models

o Onshore / Offshore / Nearshore rate structures

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication and stakeholder management

Ability to work under tight timelines
