Role Summary

We are hiring a Test Manager (1012 years) to lead the QA function for our Government Business Solutions product - GBS. The role requires strong Indian banking domain expertise, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive test strategy, planning, and execution for GBS
- Ensure functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing coverage
- Drive risk-based testing and ensure quality across releases
- Establish test coverage, traceability, and defect management practices
- Lead and mentor the team; drive performance and productivity
- Allocate work, track progress, and ensure timely delivery
- Act as the SPOC for all QA activities
- Ensure quality across Government Business modules, including:
- Central / State Tax & Excise Duty collections
- Investment schemes (PPF, SCSS, NPS)
- Pension schemes

- Collaborate with business and product teams to validate regulatory requirements
- Drive test automation strategy and ensure regression coverage
- Plan and execute performance, load,



and stress testing
- Identify performance bottlenecks and ensure system readiness for high-volume transactions
- Identify process gaps and implement QA best practices and standards
- Define and track test metrics, dashboards, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with quality and audit requirements

Must Have

- 10–12 years in QA, with Test Management experience
- Currently working in a Tier 1 IT services / product company
- Solid Indian Banking domain knowledge (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience in:
- Functional testing
- Test planning & defect management

- Experience in automation and performance testing tools
- Exposure to API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)

Good to Have

- Exposure to Core Banking / integration ecosystems
- Experience in migration or transformation programs
- Knowledge of Java, Angular, and SQL
- Understanding of Agile / DevOps environments
