Job Purpose

To drive profitable growth of the assigned zone by expanding the branch network, building high-performing teams, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining portfolio quality and achieving business targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibilities

- Lead and guide Regional Heads to achieve zonal business objectives.
- Identify high-potential markets and locations for opening current branches.
- Drive end-to-end branch expansion, including identifying premises, coordinating branch setup and ensuring timely operational readiness.
- Recruit, develop and retain competent, ethical and high-performing Branch Heads and branch teams in coordination with HR.
- Build a performance-driven culture through coaching, mentoring and regular reviews.
- Strengthen sourcing channels by developing relationships with DSAs, connectors, channel partners and local influencers.




- Promote local marketing and visibility initiatives to enhance business growth.

Functional Responsibilities

- Own zonal AUM, revenue, profitability and business growth targets.
- Ensure quality sourcing, appraisal, sanction, disbursement and servicing of gold loans.
- Monitor portfolio quality, collections, overdue accounts and auction processes.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, internal policies, audit requirements and risk management standards.
- Standardize operational processes and safeguard pledged gold, cash and documentation across branches.
- Review MIS and business reports to monitor performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate with Operations, HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Administration and other support functions to ensure smooth branch functioning and expansion.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and high-value business partners.
- Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by management to achieve organizational objectives.
