Position: Oracle APEX Consultant
Experience: 35 years
Location: Bangalore
Travel: Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and enhance Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements.
- Participate in requirement discussions and convert functional needs into application features.
- Design user-friendly pages, workflows, validations, reports, and dashboards.
- Develop database objects and write effective SQL and PL/SQL code.
- Integrate APEX applications with Oracle Cloud, REST APIs, and external systems.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely fixes and production support.
- Perform unit testing and support functional testing and UAT.
- Prepare technical specifications, configuration details, and user documentation.
- Follow secure coding, version control, and application development standards.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, and business users throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 3–5 years of hands-on Oracle APEX application development experience.




- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with APEX components such as Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, Shared Components, validations, and authentication.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for application customisation.
- Experience consuming and developing REST APIs.
- Good understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling.
- Ability to understand business requirements and propose practical solutions.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and resolving application issues.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a project team.

Good to Have:

- OIC integration development experience.
- Experience with AI-enabled features or automation within Oracle APEX applications.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, or other source-control and deployment practices.
- Oracle APEX certification.
