Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced AI Development Enablement Lead to lead AI-assisted software engineering transformation initiatives for a strategic insurance client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Claude Code or similar AI-powered coding platforms, along with strong experience in developer productivity transformation, engineering enablement, and modernization programs.

This role will focus on enabling engineering teams to adopt AI-driven development practices that improve delivery velocity, code quality, operational efficiency, and modernization outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

AI Engineering Enablement

- Lead the adoption of AI-assisted software development practices using Claude Code or equivalent AI coding platforms for code generation, automation, optimization, and accelerated development.
- Define and implement best practices for effective use of AI coding assistants across engineering teams.
- Train, mentor, and enable developers on AI-driven development workflows and engineering productivity improvements.
- Establish developer productivity frameworks leveraging AI tools and automation capabilities.
- Drive engineering transformation initiatives focused on modernization and delivery acceleration.

Solution Development Integration

- Develop and customize templates, correspondence solutions, document workflows, and communication systems.
- Work on data mapping, business rules implementation, document composition, and output generation processes.
- Build and support integrations using APIs, enterprise integration frameworks, and connected application ecosystems.
- Collaborate with architecture, development,



and business teams to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.

Technical Leadership

- Provide technical guidance on prompt engineering, code quality, architecture standards, and AI-assisted development practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to secure development and governance standards.
- Promote Agile development methodologies and DevOps best practices within engineering teams.

Required Skills Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technical consulting.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or equivalent AI coding assistants/platforms.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes, developer workflows, and engineering best practices.
- Experience driving engineering transformation and developer productivity initiatives.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering concepts and AI-assisted development techniques.
- Proficiency in technologies such as Java, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, JSON, or related technologies.
- Experience with APIs, enterprise integration frameworks, and application connectivity.
- Strong technical mentoring, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to SmartCOMM or other Customer Communication Management (CCM) platforms.
- Experience with legacy application modernization initiatives.
- Cloud engineering background with AWS preferred.
- Knowledge of AI governance, secure development practices, and responsible AI adoption.
- Insurance or BFSI domain experience is a strong advantage.
- Prior experience enabling enterprise-scale AI engineering adoption programs
