Role and Responsibilities :
This unit provides Treasury and Payment backoffice of Canadian account servicing team.
Activities include -
- Performs detailed bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies within defined SLAs.
- Applies accounting principles to analyze offset account balances, interest calculations, and banking entries.
- Ensures all transactions are processed in compliance with banking accounting systems, regulatory guidelines, and internal policies.
- Engages directly with clients to address account-related inquiries, explain offset mechanisms, and resolve issues effectively.
- Responds to and facilitates resolution of client service requests related to offset accounts and reconciliations.
- Identifies process inefficiencies and recommends continuous improvement initiatives within the offset system operations.
- Participates in audits, control reviews, and issue resolution, ensuring proper documentation and escalation as required.
