Role Descriptions: Mainframe z/OS System Administrator / System Programmer L2 or L3 capability, from 5-7 to 30 years of experience

Minimum 5-7+ years onwards of BOTH broad and in-depth hands-on technical and design/architect level experience in Mainframe z/OS

Experience in a multi-site (multiple Data Center) Mainframe shop of minimum 5K MIPS and above.

Worked with Client/Customer, OEM ISV Vendors, Business Partners related to all aspects of the Mainframe Platform.

Support various Mainframe Software, both IBM and OEM/ISV products

Mainframe High Availability Disaster Recovery

Derive realistic Mainframe SLAs and design / propose architecture meeting those SLAs goals

Mainframe Licensing, TCO and ROI planning

Minimum 5-7+ years upto 30 years of hands-on technical and Architect experience on the Mainframe Platform as a whole (HW, SW, NW, OS, ISV, Storage and Security)

- IBM z15, z16 z17 Mainframe HW and Parallel Sysplex/GDPS-GDDR Setup - Mandate
- JES2/JES3, DFSMS suite, SNA/VTAM TCP/IP - Mandate
- PARMLIB, PROCLIB, RMF/SMF, SMP/E, HCD, HCM, IODF, Dumps Traces - Mandate
- Install/Upgrade/Patch/Configure ISV Products from Broadcom CA, BMC, Rocket SW, Software AG, LRS, Precisely etc - Mandate
- zOS Upgrades,



HW Refresh, DC LPAR Data Migration - Mandate
- SIEM (Q-Radar), z/OS-SA (System Automation), CA-OPS/MVS Automation
- Security ACF2, RACF, Top Secret, zSecure Suite, Mainframe zCrypto, Digital Certificates
- OmegaMon, BMC AMI Suite MainView CA View, basic knowledge on SAS, Strobe, APA
- IBM and EMC Disk and Tape Storage hardware, software and replication.
- Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning, Buffer Pool Tuning, MIPS Optimization, zIIP Offload, SMT
- Mainframe Data Center Architecture (Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, MGM, 2/3/4 site GDPS GDDR)
- IBM and EMC HW and Replication GDPS, GDDR methodology. Hitachi optional.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills, RTO, RPO. - Mandate
- Knowledge on Mainframe DB2, IMS, MQ, CICS, WAS, BMC Control-M, TWS, CA7, CA-ESP
- Mainframe Data Center Physical Planning and Design
