Key Responsibilities

- Gather business requirements from warehouse/logistics stakeholders and translate them into SAP EWM configuration
- Configure the warehouse structure: warehouse numbers, storage types, storage sections, bins, activity areas, and work centers
- Design and configure inbound processes: ASN (Advanced Shipping Notification), goods receipt, quality inspection, putaway strategies
- Design and configure outbound processes: outbound delivery orders, wave management, picking strategies, packing, staging, and goods issue
- Configure warehouse task and warehouse order creation, RF (Radio Frequency) framework, and resource management
- Set up slotting and rearrangement, replenishment strategies, and physical inventory/cycle counting processes
- Configure labor management (LM) engineered labor standards, workload planning, and performance tracking (where applicable)
- Design and configure Yard Management — checkpoints, yard bins, TU (Transportation Unit) processing
- Configure Value-Added Services (VAS) and kitting/production integration
- Integrate EWM with MM, SD, PP, QM, and TM for end-to-end order-to-delivery flows
- Configure integration between decentralized EWM and ERP/S/4HANA via qRFC/CIF, or work within embedded EWM architecture
- Configure RF/mobile data entry (MDE) screens and transactions for warehouse floor operations




- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW) and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT and cutover activities, including warehouse go-live cutover planning
- Provide production support, troubleshoot warehouse task/RF/interface issues, and resolve incidents
- Prepare documentation: business blueprints, configuration guides, test scripts, and training material
- Participate in client workshops for warehouse process design, layout discussions, and solution walkthroughs

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP EWM (decentralized and/or S/4HANA embedded)
- Good understanding of integration points with MM, SD, PP, QM, and TM
- Experience in at least 1–2 full-cycle SAP EWM implementation or support projects
- Knowledge of putaway/picking strategies, wave management, and warehouse process flows
- Understanding of RF framework configuration and mobile data entry transactions
- Familiarity with warehouse structure setup (storage types, bins, activity areas)
- Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- SAP certification in EWM or S/4HANA Logistics is a plus
