About the organization: Our client is a leading global sustainability consultancy based in Pune, serving the manufacturing, construction, healthcare, and corporate sectors.

Location: Chennai (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Collection: Consultant must collect and compile Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data.
- Data Validation & Quality Control: Consultant must validate and standardize all LCI data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Any missing data must be documented thoroughly.
- LCA Modelling: Consultant must build the LCI model using life cycle inventory data collected in the software.
- Assumptions: All assumptions made during Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) modelling must be clearly documented to ensure datasets and models are fully traceable and audit-ready.
- Operational Data: Consultant will collaborate with clients Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) to gather operational data. This includes plant level assembly details, resources, energy use, and complete logistics data (inbound/outbound transportation modes, distances and supplier logistics).
- Public Benchmarking: Consultant must collect and compile relevant benchmarking data from public sources, including databases, industry reports, research papers, academic studies, regulatory filings, and previous LCA research.
- Duties: The consultant must adhere to all project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Requirements:

- Experience: The consultant must have 2 to 3 years of experience running Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) projects independently.




- Software Expertise: The consultant must have hands-on experience using either GaBi or SimaPro software.
- Project History: Consultant must have completed at least 03 LCA projects. Standards: Consultant must strictly follow ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 guidelines for all project work.
- Onsite Location: Deployed consultant must work onsite at the Client location to work closely with their Sustainability team.
- Office Rules: Deployed consultant must follow all Client’s workplace rules, including working full-time from the office, following work hours, and tracking attendance.
- Stakeholder Management: Represent our client and maintain long-term relationships with customers.

Candidate Profile:

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s (Environmental domain highly desired).
- Language: Fluent spoken and written English.
- Skills: Experience in Life Cycle Assessment study.
- Attributes: Flexible, self-motivating, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Travel: High willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Commitment: Minimum commitment of 01 year.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). Basic understanding of business finance and accounting.

Proactive initiative to learn and ideate current solutions in a dynamic team.

Compensation: As per Industry level (finalized based on qualifications and skills).

Location: Onsite at Client location.
