Role

To ensure that the raw materials, products and the production setting meet microbiological quality standards.

Responsibilities

- To perform Microbiological testings, reporting and documentation.
- To perform testing procedures for raw materials and finished products: MLT, Endotoxin quantification, Sterility testing.
- SOP preparation and reviewing.
- Maintenance of NCIM cultures.
- Media preparation and performing Growth promotion test for the prepared media.
- Water testing: Sterility check, endotoxin quantification, pathogen detection test.
- To perform staining procedures for identification of microorganisms.
- To perform validation and calibration procedures for equipments.
- Assist in the training efforts of the laboratory personnel.
