Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze business requirements for subscription-based order management processes
- Configure SAP SOM: product catalogs, order capture, provisioning, and fulfillment processes
- Design and configure Charge Management (CHM) and its integration with SOM
- Integrate SOM with Convergent Invoicing (CI), Convergent Charging (CC), FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable), and BRIM Subscription Billing
- Configure Provider Order and Provider Contracts, product master data, and technical resources
- Work on integration with front-end/CRM systems (SAP CRM, C4C, or third-party CPQ tools) for order capture
- Support middleware/interface configuration (e.g., with Order Distribution, PI/PO, or CPI) for order orchestration
- Handle end-to-end order lifecycle: order creation, amendment, suspension, cancellation, and provisioning
- Collaborate with FI-CA and Convergent Invoicing teams to ensure seamless billing and invoicing downstream
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW) and coordinate with technical/ABAP teams
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT and cutover activities




- Provide production support and resolve incidents related to order management processes
- Prepare documentation: business blueprints, configuration guides, test scripts, and training material
- Participate in client workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design sessions

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP SOM (Subscription Order Management)
- Positive understanding of the broader SAP BRIM landscape CI, CC, FI-CA — and how SOM integrates with them
- Experience in at least 1–2 full-cycle SAP BRIM implementation or support projects
- Knowledge of subscription business models, usage-based billing, and order-to-cash processes
- Familiarity with integration technologies (PI/PO, CPI, APIs) for order orchestration
- Understanding of provider order, provider contract, and technical resource concepts
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills
- SAP certification in BRIM/SOM is a plus
