.NET Core Developer - INFOSYS

Job Summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced .NET Core Developer with 5-9 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications using .NET Core/.NET 6+ technologies.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices-based applications.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and support activities.
- Work closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and design principles.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.
- Mentor junior developers and support technical decision-making.

Required Technical Skills

- Robust experience in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and MVC.
- Hands-on experience in developing REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.




- Expertise in Entity Framework Core (EF Core) and ORM concepts.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
- Experience working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Experience in writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Identity Server.
- Experience with source control systems like Git, Azure Repos, or GitHub.
- Familiarity with build and package management tools such as NuGet.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and secure coding practices.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Key Vault).
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Application Insights, Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience in DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.Role & responsibilities
