Job Summary:

Medical Underwriter (Deputy manager/Manager role)

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate health insurance proposals by analyzing medical history, diagnostic reports, and risk factors.
• Apply underwriting guidelines to assess risk and determine appropriate terms, conditions.

Skills :

- Robust medical knowledge with the ability to interpret medical reports.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word for documentation and reporting.
• Good analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical underwriting decisions.
• Multilingual proficiency: Tamil, English, and Hindi (mandatory)
• Kannada (added advantage)




- Preference - Previous experience in medical underwriting or claims processing (like cashless or reimbursement processing).

Requirements:

Experience Required: 2 -4 years of relevant experience in the Health Insurance industry.
Qualification: Doctor (BDS / MBBS / BHMS)
